Refund & Cancellation Policy

India For NRI's Refund and Cancellation Policy ensures a transparent and fair approach to service management. We provide clear terms upfront in every engagement letter so you know exactly what applies before work begins. This policy covers cancellations, refunds, and non-refundable services across our NRI legal, tax, property, and documentation offerings.

• Clients may request cancellation before work has commenced, subject to any admin fees stated in the quote.
• If significant work has already been performed, charges apply for time and resources utilised up to the cancellation date.
• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@indiafornri.com, referencing your engagement or invoice number.
• We will confirm cancellation in writing and outline any applicable charges within 2 business days.

• Refunds are applicable in cases of non-performance or significant errors attributable to India For NRI, as determined after internal review.
• Refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of service completion with detailed reasoning and supporting documentation.
• Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method and typically reflect within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
• Partial refunds may apply where work was partially delivered in accordance with the agreed scope.

The following are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, except where delivery fails to meet agreed terms:

• Custom advisory solutions and bespoke legal drafting.
• Legal retainers and ongoing compliance subscriptions.
• Third-party fees paid to government authorities, embassies, courts, or registries on your behalf.
• Government stamp duty, court fees, and attestation charges already disbursed.

For large engagements (typically above ₹5 lakh), we offer milestone-based pricing. Each milestone is invoiced upon delivery and acceptance of that stage's work. Refunds for completed and accepted milestones are not available; unstarted milestones may be cancelled per the terms above.
